This sort of thread is appearing in different guises every week now. Could well just be an expression of minority opinions/conflicts, as internet forums often are.

On the other hand I think its going to be pretty hard to prevent rifts appearing within the music. Quite sad I suppose, but also maybe a necessary part of music's evolution. Inspiration in music can come almost as much from what you don't like as what you like.

Me, personally- I don't like that tune I don't like

I reckon everyone should be allowed to voice theyre opinion.
not everyone has to like the same tunes just because theyre big.thats wat makes music interesting.

big up weasel.
all the months ive been reading this forum you've always been sound as a pound, and friendly as heck. sorry everyones givin you so much stress for this post. i hope you dont end up getting pointlessly banned like so many others.

big up rusko, king of the 2tone step. that megamix you did reminds me of my great summer, n im likin your style rude boy.

i agree that making a post about stuff you dont like is all relative and quite pointless, but if we're talking about pointlessness, then anyone spending time writing on a forum about opinions and experiences to people they dont know is rather pointless too.
where does it end eh.

at least its not as bad as the "unpopular opinions" thread.

I'd like to hear something like Lightning from Skream again, that's the one tune that got me into Dubstep properly.

As for the main point of this thread, I ain't feeling Spongebob either... the bass is too hectic and hyperactive. However, I concede that at the right point in the set, it will kick things off big time.

Same with some of the latest Rusko and Tes La Rock releases.

Prefer the original Lightning to the VIP, but I may have to check out Sandsnake

So you don't like the Burial Jamie Woon remix? That boggles my mind, but different strokes/folks etc.

Basically there are loads of dubstep tunes that i don't feel, but if i hear any tune i hate on the radio i don't automatically run to my mates and say "oh my god this tune is shite", but i do if i something is good. Same with this place, wouldn't really feel strongly enough about a tune i don't like to post about it.

Plus some things are growers, didn't really like night much first time i heard it, but it's grown, wouldn't want to have come on here, badmouthed it then a week later gone on about how i like it.

Hence, don't see much point to the thread
