we forget that we're animals whose purpose is to reproduce. just like lions and reindeer we look for the strongest, healthiest partner because it's in our reproductive mindset to make strong healthy babies. even coming down to things like teeth... wonky teeth get food stuck in, making teeth rot, making them fall out, making eating hard and the owner of the no-more teeth become dependant on others (in back to nature times, before dentures). we subconsciously want a strong bloodline the same as animals do. it's all a big old courtship ritual, confused by relationships.

exactly. since when did it become ok to let men out for more than an hour a day to go and do their potty business...?

jokes!

I know you guys don't seem to hear many of the times that your female dubsteppahs are having the same problems. It was said that we ladies won't go out with a guy who doesn't have any money. How many of you guys overlooked a chick because she wasn't tiny and stacked? You don't want the chicks who only want your money? Stop choosing the chicks, then, based on what she looks like and ask more questions than, "Boyfriend?" "Single?" "Whats your fav tv show?" and "Wanna fuck?"

Like....a close friend of mine is 29 and totally picked this 19 yr old girl because her star tats on her hips were hot and she looked good naked and she was sweet because she was pierced and wanted to fuxx0rz his brains out. A few months later, he wants to come bitch to me when the 19 yr old doesn't want a serious relationship and only wants to get drunk and hook up. So i asked him, "You want sympathy from me because your 19 yr old gf acted like a 19 yr old and you're upset about it? Fuck you!"

both sides need better decision-making skills. way better
yeah i was joking, and i think you make a good point, but when you grow up in a world where the media tells you what good looking is then thats what you accept you need, i would like to clarify i think the liberation of women last centuary was a good thing, i do go on looks but only at first i think a girls attitude can realy boost how good looking she is, you could have a girl who is plain looking but her attitude is good which to me makes her more desirable than a very good looking girl who is a stupid bitch.
there are lots of cool girls but the tend to be taken. :(
its kinda like looking at a guy who a girl wouldnt normally find attractive, but the better his personality is...the better he looks....

most females give the guy a chance tho. guys are kinda yes or no about it. at least initially.

if there is one thing I am conceited about its teeth.

my grill cost about $10,000 to straighten up and about 10 years of my life, you better believe my man will have a nice set of teeth. even if they are not straight they better be clean...if u want me to kiss/look at you when you speak...yea.

I guess...but wouldn't that mean that men would choose women who had a higher hip to waist ratio than whats more popular now? I mean, as much as we are partially programmed by biology, we also can't ignore the rapid changes in standards of beauty for women. In the 1970's, women were curvier, bustier, softly shaped and yadda yadda. If you look at the women who were "gorgeous" just 20-30 yrs ago and compare them to today's women, they are average nowadays. I loved that thread about the Original Hottie Gyal, because those ladies are absolutely beautiful, but I also know that quite a few of those gorgeous ladies would be passed over and made to do Camryn Manheim best friend roles to the hot girl roles in movies.

Shame really. If good ladies and gents could just find each other and leave the shallow, vapid people to their own, this wouldn't be much of a problem. Good girls and good guys can find decent people and not spend their time wondering why things aren't workin' out...

It's an old cliche though, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder isn't it and what's going to be attractive to one person may not to another. It's sometimes the little flaws that really mark someone out anyway rather than perfection. In the celebrity world of perfect teeth and complexions it's easy for that stereotypical beauty to appear rather bland.

anyone else notice when they meet up with old school mates that the girls who were a bit plain and not very popular tend to be sexyer than the girlswho were in vogue at the age of 16 - ive noticed those girls have gone downhill

Yeah totally. Usually because they've put more effort into having a personality rather than just expecting to sustain themselves off physical attributes forever though

same with the guys. the geeky guys of high school aren't as geeky to grown up ladies who are all, "You have hair *and* a job!"

hehehe i think height is attractive in men. that being said, i love geeky boys the most and always have. A man who is highly intelligent is just the sexiest thing ever. A man who knows what going on in the world and knows obscure random facts that took lots of personal research....or a man who is cultured and worldly....hubba hubba...gets my girly bits goin' every time. then again, I'm strange. I don't know what other ladies look for. I don't want money because I hate feelin' like a hooker. I can make my own tyvm.

Meh....I'm just weird anyways. LOL. I figure I'll be findin' golden fleece before I get to the end of the man question. Its cool tho... I don't mind really. When its supposed to happen, it will. Nothin' more I can do than be happy being me. :)

let me put my .02 in...
I used to date a guy whom I found to be amazing. He's not really amazing though I just found him to be amazing, and regardless, still do.

When a girl suddenly becomes single, guys are all up on it, because they think ' great, i can get something out of this, easy! '
( I couldn't tell you the amount of guys that appeared out of nowhere, the amount of guys that waited til I had become single to tell me that they always had a thing for me, which I most definitely, don't fall for. EVER! )

Guys....

the reason why you're not suddenly hot cakes is because, most women, at least the smart ones, just don't want to deal with the drama that will possibly come from that. I have, and will never do it again, its NOT WORTH IT!
Nobody wants to sit there, dating a guy, while he still insists on being ' friends ' with the ex, and she insists on saying shit like ' oh i love you and miss you ' even though y'all have been separated for a while.
Trust...it takes a minute, but i would much rather wait for a guy, if I really like him. Wait til he gets himself together, and that other girl is fully out of the picture.

wish all ladies were like that, theres this saying 'women!(tut), they're all the same'
but if that were true life would be a hell of alot more simple and boring.
i dont like tall women very much but my uncle is 5ft and he doesn't like small women - weird that i would have thought it would be the other way round

theres actually some truth to that...
I have had a guy friend, Ian... and well, we have been together practically this whole week... I mean, we were at a show yesterday, and he held my hand the whole time ( since I am currently borderline crippled ) and i love him to death, but would NEVER do anything with him. Hes an amazing friend, and thats it.
