We need one big list of all the PS3 and 360 IDs . . .

I got it on PS3, believe it looks better than the 360 and it only took me 2 minutes to update and get online. 3rd island now, games almost complete!! What a shower way to lose my life.

How does the multiplayer work? Is it straight deathmatch or do you have missions that you have to complete?

And do you have to start & finish a game together, or do you have servers with ongoing games that anyone can join/leave?

there are some co-op missions and a number of deathmatch types.

People were saying it can be freeform, ie they set up a game called king kong where one team was on top of bulidings with grenade launchers, and the other team were in helicopters trying to shoot them off.

Really? You've got that much control over the setup of the game? That sounds great 8)

So what's the preferred mode then, co-op or deathmatch? I'd have thought co-op would be pretty good, I assume the missions're pretty basic though?

U can do deathmatch/team deathmatch / cops n robbers / race / petrovic missions (singlulary or in teams; recieve missions and complete them against the other team, against the clock(s) / free roam which is do whatever u want tbh.

u cant join an existing game unless its free roam tbh.

And you do all this via Niko's mobile phone.

That's much more varied than I thought it was going to be...petrovic missions sound good

Is there much scope for it being played in tournaments? I've always thought a GTA team would be hilarious to be in

I mean potentially yes, but they need to sort out the servers a bit more before that can happen.

BUT SAYING THAT, i actually haven't had any problems going online as of late, running pretty smooth too.

Can you check where the server is geographically or is a bit of pot luck whether you get a eu one?
