stop moaning about what other people do and concentrate on your own shit, it aint hard not to listen if you dont like it
tell that to futures
for all the bitching he's doing he could spend that time stepping up his production skills which no offense need it from what i've heard on his myspace
I actually agree with you 100%. I spend to much time on DSF instead of working on projects.. The tracks on my Myspace are almost all over 2 years old

When I do sit down to make tunes, I usually end up making patches instead of making beats....
I won't go into details, suffice to say that when the time is right you'll be hearing plenty of fresh tunes from me
With regards to Brutal electro, I'm glad some others are also voicing their concern for the lack of quality coming from some of the 'big names'... homogeneous indeed.
I think Twisted individual made a tune about this scenario called 'Bandwagon Blues'.

went through a phase of using presets but now discoverd i want my own sound and try tweaking them the best i can to come up with something far less used and thats abit new to the ear
nuffin wrong with using presets as long as you can pull it off

?
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

The first time I heard it was in a Dutty Dubz tune
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjHokF8wXjs
Cleverly called Electro.
At the time I owned Massive, and knew what the Br00taaaal Electro patch was but I never thought anyone would use it.
I listen to the Dutty Dubz tune and I'm like, "Hm, that's a pretty cool sounding, unique bass."
A couple of months later, I start reading DSF, and it slowly dawns on me that, Wait! I've Been Had!

If any of you guys have watched the Ctrl-Z CM mag masterclass (best one eva btw) he takes that patch and twists it into something brutal (haha get it, yeh? im well funny innit).
Presets can be ace if you mangle the fuck out of them

All my songs are made from 100% pure presets. Even the drums. Even the FX. My speakers are preset to on aswell and my artwork is all preset.
My mouse was pre-set too, in a mould.
