I have a dream that one day people on dubstepforum will actually read what people are saying rather than responding to what they think people are probably saying. It's shit like this that makes this forum so tedious and predictable such a lot of the time.

Once again:

1) People are entirely aware of the large numbers of dnb producers who make good, fun, interesting, original dubstep.
2) People aren't averse to new producers bringing in their own influences and ideas.
3) The problem a lot of people have with these tunes and other tunes like them is precisely that they don't have any new influences, they're generic and predictable but will probably get a shitload of attention because they're a) technically well put together and b) by a famous name from dnb.

martyn is nearly universally loved in this scene, and chiefly due to the fact that he writes music first and worries about what genre it is afterwards.
I dont think Iv ever sat down and said to myself "im going to make a <<insert>> track...

I can't believe Clipz made it as big as he has. Imo all his stuff sounds like it could be an alternate theme for the tellytubbies. Where's the soul in his music?

We need to keep the vibes right or Dubstep will turn into a pop fest and no one wants that. We need artists to make tracks that come from the heart and not make tunes purely for selling. (which imo Clipz is guilty of)

LTJ Bukem or Deep Blue would be sick on the dubstep

Agreed. I saw them live a few weeks back mashing up dubstep and drum and bass at Timbuk2 in Bristol (dubplate / white heavy sey) - and I have to say, after waiting for ages to see them - I was really dissapointed.

Sounded a bit bland.

If you want to hear dirty and well produced dubstep, check out Excision (Rottun Records), Innaksekt (Rottun / Frijsfo Beats) and Broken Note (Ruff / Peace Off) - much better IMO as they profess in that style! 8)

check out 'six degrees' by kryptic minds (originally dnb). definitely my favourite dubstep tune at the moment.. when loefah played it at croydub and dmz everyone went mental.

also, check out snooker hall by subterra. another dnb producer getting into dubstep.. kind of chilled but techy

as for black sun empire, have to agree sounds a bit unfinished but definitely want to hear more. i say more the merrier (as long as its good), not enough dubstep in the world!!!
