I wonder if there is an app that you can use the internet on your laptop via your iPhone...I could do with that for when I get my new laptop.

Basically you acess the internet on your laptop by using the iphone as a modem, that better?

Unfortunately I can't find a cable that will stretch from my home all the way to work so I can use internet on the laptop on the train.

phobang, i read all you posts, and i agree that many things could be done.
i think you believe me when i tell you that i was thinking about how to improve this site more than you or anyone else.
and not only thinking, i actually installed that option of attaching your tunes to your posts on this forum in 2006!
changing to vbulletin was also highly considered by me, as well as doing a ezine and some other ideas you didnt mention here.

unfortunately, or luckily, after a year of running the forum i changed the university and since then i dont have too much free time.
(i dropped from 1st place on Top Ten Posters list to 48th)
i realized that i can hardly manage to handle the forum itself (here goes huge thank you to all moderators for help!), let alone all other things that were on my mind.
i also realized that all this fancy things i would like to add to the forum are not necessary and would not add any extra value to the forum for real dubsteppers, but will only maybe add the financial value to the site.
things which bring positive vibes on the forum are projects which encourage interaction and communication between members like mixes, remixes, competitions etc. and all those things can be easily done through this simple old phpbb script!
