vinyls are like books, you treasure them, and enjoy playing them/reading them over and over
digital books would ruin reading, dont think many people will switch to them for that reason
same with vinyl, so vinyl wont die

Would you complain because your favourite guitarrist is using other guitar than an stratocaster?
Telling the DJ which format he should play is just as asking him to play that song that means so much for you. A DJ is supposed to keep the crowd dancing, mantaining a certain groove and making people listen to good/new music, not showing how good he is at beatmatching, or his style handling a couple of 12".
Powerbook G4, M audio audiophile, alesis m1 active mk2, novation remote zero, Ableton live 7.

digital books were quite a popular christmas present this year.

in a x number of years - books will start getting released only in digital format so that save on publishing costs etc... !!

Truth. Amazons Digital-book reader was a HUGE seller this year, I could be(and usually am) wrong but I do believe they even sold out!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I want to hear a group of people redundantly pluralizing-that sound hilarious.

Reminds me of the "Throw the Jew Down the Well" scene from Ali G.

yes well...books and vinyl are different, it's cool about books going digital i think bc it's saving trees

but the feel and touch of vinyl...and warm sounds. i hope they don't completely die out!
