There's only one more week to go before we pitch up in a massive field and get all messy Winchester style. And as a last minute boot up the rear, the originator behind that infamous Streetbass sound, Philly bass badboy Starkey has been added to the bill for our imminent takeover of the monstrous Boomtown stage at Glade.

Check out or interview with the Starkbot HERE: http://wordpress.hyponik.com/2009/07/li ... s-starkey/ where he talks Beatles, teleportation and the UK influence..

If you still fancy joining us for some sunshine, baked beans and wearing the same pair of pants for a whole weekend, camping tickets are HERE: http://glade.ticketline.co.uk/

And we are, as always, HERE: http://www.hyponik.com

Yes! Cheers for this! I can't get there until Friday evening and you just let me know my Pinch/mystikz deadline!

Last time I saw Pinch there, I had to help bail out the tent first!!!

It looks BIG this year :D

Glade isn't really about the lineup, although it's usually pretty fucking huge. It's all about the vibe. It's changed over the years, but man, this one has a permanent place in my calendar!

get to know!

naa man here's the script

The rules on personal alcohol levels are:

"It can only be brought in when the licensed bars are not open -
from 12 noon Thurs to 6pm Thurs.

"Only personal amounts can be admitted:
12 X CANS OF BEER
OR 2 X BOTTLES OF WINE
OR 6 X CANS OF BEER AND 1 X BOTTLE OF WINE
NO SPIRITS
NO GLASS WHATSOEVER SO BRING WINE IN BOXES OR PLASTIC BOTTLES!

This concession applies even though the info sheets with the tickets have "no alcohol" printed on them. Once the festival's licence officially starts, you can't bring booze in any more - that is what is being referred to. This has been confirmed with the organisers.

I cant comment this year as its a new site, but for the past 4 years we have always turned up on the thursday lunchtime (as we will this year). Always room to camp on the friday, but the best spots like the tops of hills etc. away from toilets always get taken first.

Aw dude, lining up and being one of the first to get through Glade is a great feeling!

Can't even begin to imagine what the motherfuckers right below the porta-johns must've felt like in 2007... :o

Toilets at glade, in general, have been fine.

2007 was BAD though as they couldnt get the cleaning lorries in because of the floods.

Yep. I pissed in a Strongbow can on the Friday night because the toilets were so bad.

In the morning I woke up and decided I was going to shotgun one of my beers to get mashed early on in the day.

Guess which can I picked up?
