just came back to Oxford, took a shower and just about to go to sleep

but before that...

sick gig, really, really great sets (Take's one was probably my fav, or Lotus)

2 minuses though:

no live painting by QUES as promised

no special secret guest as promised by GLK (he said that after Take's mix, I guess everyone thought it's gonna be Zomby, but nobody showed up... - or did they ?? 'cause I left the place after 20 minutes of Benji B's show)

also who was on the mic with Joker ?

fucking amazing night anyway, loads of great (new) tunes, dope freestyle with Lo, Concept and GLK on the decks (what's the name of the bassist? he needs to get some credit as well)

got some stickers with Brainfeeder logo and Gaslamp Killer ones, i was also trying to get one of those t-shirts, but Lotus told me they run out of them quickly - however they will be available to buy at the brainfeeder's site.

Gaslamp renewed my enjoyment of gritty dubstep. Kode 9 and spaceape had some serious tunes, didn't recognise any of them though - have they got a new album out or something?

all in all, imo the freshest sounds in the world right now all under one roof
gutted i missed take and bibio though

Take was fucking killing it, ridiculous set.

Also I really loved Kode 9's set, even though he was the least anticipated act by me, monumental tunes, that's the only way I can describe it.

Was it me, or Joker's set was the longest out of them all? anyway he played all the songs I was anticipating from him. Dooope

the second half of Samiyam's set was the nuts. so many massive beats

thought kode's set was pretty dull.

glk skipped through wobbly dubstep so fast it actually sounded good.

dorian nailed it and Joker's set was immense, next level dance music from him.

missed Benji B. anyone stay that late?
