The Acid Never Lies wrote:age of dub by ed solo is pretty easy to get into, right rowdy and fun... maybe on a deeper tip i might play them chamber dub, or some burial could be the one. if they came from house or techno it would def be summin along the lines of peverlist / martyn / shackleton / geiom / scuba etc.
Ed Solo is ftmfw! such a tune!

The obvious answer is Mud VIP on a massive system. They might not survive though!

Depends on what the person is into

If they're into the current electro/indie dance stuff i'd have em listen to that foamo rmx of la roux - bulletproof or the skream ravey rmx of going in for the kill.

If they're into hip hop I'd hit 'em w/ some disco rekah or Nero - This way or some Joker stuff

If they're into the harder side of things... I'd introduce them to 16bit - Chainsaw Caligraphy or some Ultrablack or dark Trillbass business.

Reggae/Dub - omg there's just too many to pick from... but definitely Uncle Sam - Around the World Girls (Tes La Rok rmx) would be in there

It's really all about finding something that people can connect to and vibe off of... the better you connect it to what they like the more inclined they are to take another listen

Mala - Lean Forward
Digital Mystikz - Anti-War Dub
Coki - Mood Dub
Loefah - Mud

I would pretty much just say... "dmz"

bass clef - cannot be straightned

i think the interest the track holds up carries across genres to people who could care less about what genre it is

My mate used to not be a massive fan of dubstep but hes a rocker and Distance - V pushed him over the edge. Now he loves it.

I think distance Night Vision is a good one.

Joker - Stuck in the System is good for grime lovers.

for the rock guys that you wanna bring to the dark side, deffinately stuff by distance is the way to go.

for the metal heads, the trillbass remix of mafia by koan sound is rediculously brutal!!!
