Circle is my main synth when i'm not working in Reason. part of the reason i fell in love with it is because the interface is just stunning and so user-friendly.

never really liked the rob papen synths. never got along with Blue. will give the demo another go though as it always seem to get so much praise.

Where are you seeing that? I bring up blue in euros and it's like 200 something and circle is 60...

Check my link on pg 4. circle - 59 euros.

Forgive me if I misunderstood your post, but did you mean that the best service website has an expired certificate? If so I get why you wouldn't buy from them...

exactly, although i would choose circle out of those because the interface is lovely to work with.

I just tested the demo myself and it`s pretty cool out of the box.
I`ve fiddled with a few synths in my day and I guess I`m strictly talking from a preset stand-point.
I find the factory presets give an awesome idea of the capabilities of the synth.

It just sounds cool from the get-go.

not sure if they've been put on yet but there are going to be a couple of presets i made being included with circle.

still i feel presets aren't good simply because it is what someone else has created with the synth and you can't rate something on what someone else can do with it.

Circle's by far my favorite. Perfect user interface. I'd like some more flexible routing options and an additional filter, but the interface more than makes up for it.

For sure it's not the only thing - it tells you nothing about usability, basically.

I guess trying stuff out gets a lot harder for mega-synths, though. I mean, if something takes ages to learn you can't just pick it up and have a fiddle around...

TBH, though, I've got Massive (via Komplete 5) and Z3t4+ (via that ludicrous offer they had on it a couple of months ago) and I don't really feel the need for any more huge hybrid-type synths, it'll take me long enough to get properly fluent with those two.
