Wait you said he had a go at the fans of the original sound, you mean he went at them and insulted the original sound? Cuz that's not cool.
wish i had the source, but that would require searching through a lot of really awful articles on skrillex etc, i might divulge into it later on in the evening and reply with the link if i find it, haha, but yeah, i'm pretty sure it was on the lines of "the old-schoolers need to move the fuck on" or something along that vibe, as i said, i'll try find it haha!

PS. agreed, electric head, hahahahaahah

But Her haircut is so edgey and chic. And her acne has cleared up quite well too!

Skrillex is a gateway artist of the worst kind. He's a bad producer, a clusterfuck of mid-range and wobbles that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping SCREAMING WOOBLES! and DARKNESS. The normal anon can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that Skrillex himself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad.

However, these very aspects that try to smear over the shit of its core make it a breeding ground for aspie, unsociable underageb shites who engage in every kind of faggotry both online and in the real world. His "songs" trying their hardest to look cool, the glowsticks, peculiar, colorful clothes, the whole brostep faggotry and everything about the Skrillex fanbase fuels their escapist fantasies, while the pity-party music, emphasis on mid-range, and overall shittiness of his music make it fit just right with the mary-sueish drives of your average preteen and his sense of unwarranted self-importance towards the world. Exactly the kind of shit that makes little kiddies, underage & retards eat this shit right the fuck up.

Skrillex is basically THE artist to attract the most hated Dubstep fanbase known to /mu/ and DSF, which is why, regardless of individual opinions, it is the responsibility of every anon to troll the fuck out of Skrillex and everyone who likes his music, and ensure that no Skrillex threads ever encourage the newfriends to show their faces here.

I enjoy a few as well, but I think for most people here including me its the effect he's had on the culture and perception of dubstep rather than the tunes themselves that's the problem.
I don't have a problem with him but I do thoroughly dislike his music + this thread and some previous skrillex threads contain this golden dsf sarcasm.

ironic how people thought they were emo, but most of them never knew these bands.... sort of like dubstep :6:
