Listening to The Weeknd's new mixtape/album since it came out on thursday... It's so underwhelming

never even listened to them but i could tell by the album art for that thing, and the people who were posting it all over tumblr, that it would suck.

Yeah, to be honest, with their/his debut I do believe the hype was justified, it was a very good mixtape. This one has 3 good tracks and thats it.

yea i was rather taken back by the fact that all the songs sounded pretty much the same, and lacked the diversity the first mixtape had....

still, gotta say im really feeling the zone (and i fucking HATE drake with a passion)

It does all sound the same, that said, I really like Birds Part 2. What I liked with House of Balloons is that it had a mix of very uptempo and downtempo sort of tunes. Thursday is too samey throughout.
