solid call. Still too early for me to properly do anything.
Unrelated but absolutely true, a cotton sweater vest worn alone is both incredibly comfortable and totally fashionable. Best $10 I've ever spent.

anything that generates hype attracts people just dying to tear it apart. People assume that hype is generated on purpose like some kind of sly marketing move
In fact, 95% of the time, hype is generated by people that are into whatever it is, its a natural byproduct of good shit. If you didnt like that thing in the first place, but check something out because of the hype - don't be fucking suprised when you don't think its all that! Don't feel the need to go around bad mouthing something cos its not for you. Hype/ comment/ enjoy the shit you DO like, and expect yourself to like

It can be generated on purpose though... records ain't gonna sell themselves you know... but yeah, most of the time it's just people who like it.

well yeah some of it is generated on purpose, but there's nothing wrong with that!
sending to DJs, featuring on blogs or whatever, that's not a sin, that's just promo

I have no beef with North Face, but this lawsuit is fucking priceless
These guys made a parody company, South Butt, and then got sued. So they made an agreement on April Fools Day, then two years later, made a new company called Butt Face. Obviously they got sued again, but it just gets so much better

Ah yes. We don't have many of those here. Only courses I'm taking for college credit right now are College English and Advanced Bio.

Some people like to sound important.
A couple of my mates have small businesses and they have CEO and Director on their cards. sounds so wank.
