Also, Raider Klan is basically the best rap collective out there right now imo.

Ya they definately had the 90's tape cassette feel to them, still goes hard tho... other than that I fux with some Danny Brown.

EDIT: Can't believe how much of a sellout rocky became in the matter of a few years... Purple Swag was revolutionary a few years back wut happen

years? it's been a year and a half since purple swag and peso first popped up, and i would hardly say they were "revolutionary"

I swear I first head purple swag like 2 summers ago, summer of 10, or maybe 11... I don't know I guess I get on his shit right away then, hipster swag lol
I definately thought it would revolutionize rap, a little bit... a kid from new york rapping all chopped and screwed ala Houston over dirty beats, sometimes flipping his style into that Bone flow... pretty much all the stuff I loved blended together

thats how i felt atleast, cant stand him now

well i do agree that it was sounding fresh, especially at the time. wish he would've kept going in the direction you're talking about, i think the houston-esque nature of some of his tracks was definitely one of the most appealing things about him

now he's on top of skrillex
