I like Loner, it smashes up dancefloors like Flux Pavilion.

This is a big release no doubt, but why all the hype surrounding the vinyl release, is it super limited or something?

Only reason I ask is that there's at least two copies of Street Halo left in my local, and it is still in stock at places like Chemical and Redeye.

doesn't matter that it's not limited mate, just exciting to get an amazing piece of music on wax. has been great listening to this audio file but it doesn't feel real til it actually goes under the needle and i hear it properly, the way god intended

So apparently that Street Halo & Kindred CD is getting a limited release here as well on Hyperdub.

I think it's more that some British retailers are stocking it.

Out of curiosity, why did you wait? In Mala's Red Bull Music Academy interview, he said he liked vinyl because it made the tracks sound slightly warmer. Is that why you decide to wait instead of buying the digital versions right away? I mean, I just bought the digital ones off of the Hyperdub website because I was eager to hear the tunes! I'm interested to hear why others don't...

I have some bad news everyone , I can't listen to Kindred (the track)

In the jungle-like percussion sections, there's a very high toned peeping noise (obviously intended). It's very distinguishable, especially on the flac version, and once you locate it, you can't stop paying attention to it, to the point where it becomes as annoying as my tinnitus.

:(

Don't look for it, or Kindred won't ever be the same again. But it's deffo there. peep peep peep peeppeeppeeppeeep

It's not that annoying to me, but yeah I noticed it.

By the way, I just lost the game.

I have a similar problem with the last bit of Ashtray Wasp, there's one snare every few bars that's intentionally out of place, but once I noticed it it started annoying the shit out of me

It's the same peep sound as the percussion in Fostercare, I don't really mind it.
