My m8 met Jaws in Amsterdam in an elevator really high

I prefer the ones with suggestive titles like Moonraker or thunderballs tbh

I agree, it's an awesome film. Proper old school Bond. No fancy gadgets or invisible cars or jet packs. Just a tnuc in a nice suit beating the shit out of people.

Total housewives-night-in-with-a-crate-of-Lambrini movie, but very well put together. Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep are great.

The Hobbit was a 2 film book IMO. Felt like so much drawn out filler in Part 2.

There was loads of filler crap, but at the same time they cut and shortened loads from the book which is what drove me mad.
Instead of being this cool journey, its this constant RUNRUNRUN from bloody cgi orcs that seem to have the stealth of ninjas.

"oh we better put you dwarf in barrels cos the guards will see"
15mins later there is 30 fucking 8ft orcs climbing across the roofs of the town and giant wolves roaming about and nobody seems to notice

I tried to watch Layer Cake yesterday, which is supposed to be at least decent, but I didn't
make it to 30 mins. If I watch something on my own it has to be engaging.

It gets crazy violent as it goes on. I mean just completely gratuitous with it. Very different style to it. More of a plot and very stylized in comparison. I really enjoyed it. It just gets so ridiculous. Makes the first one seem really tame. It's a lot darker

Tbh, I just enjoyed it for how crazy and over the top it was, mad fight scenes, explosions etc, the plot wasn't really of interest to me, think too many actions films focus on complicated plot lines when really when I'm watching an action film all I give a fuck about is the ACTION.
