Nope - you need to provide feedback first. Read the damn rules.

Voodeedoo - love that guitar and drums cant wait till its finished.

Mannyyyy - Love the bass, ya reminds me of koan sound, lol the intro i love the beastie boys

@dubmikey: i love the cowbell!
i liked the sound in the intro, you should keep them and work them a little better for a nice spacey atmospheric bit to set a cool mood.

@amphibian: nice and thick and dark. could use perhaps a ride cymbal instead of hi hat. or a lower sounding hi hat. maybe try a more hip-hop-ier groove for the darkness of it.

@ogunslinger: the basslines don't sound very synced up.
during the basslines, you should add like a high sound that just drops in pitch really fast or something for constrast.
i like the double time and edits thing. that's a rarity in most of the dubstep i listen to and I like dnb/breakcore also, so that's something interesting to add.

here's my track. trying to think of ways to lengthen it perhaps.

Thanks for the feedback! A high synth was supposed to be added today... bud I'll have to admit my production skills were lagging today I must admit :6:

@artie fufkin - that's actually a really good idea, thank you :)

Your snare is missing quite a bit of weight (seems to be a recurring thing on these boards atm :P), and i think the bitcrush is a bit overdone but otherwise solid production.

@ctang: nicely done, could try to bring out the bass a bit more at the drop though. diggin the vibes on that track.

@artie: i dig the sounds you used on the bassline, and also a cool intro. but it sounds a bit too compressed. also the drums need more power. but other then good job.

something i been working on but im having a hard time piecing everything together. feedback is appreciated.

@ctang i love that kind of Dnb , happy songs are somthing i never could make, dont mess with the drums theyr nice and tight and so well put together, i think you should ditch that "wobble?" after the kick roll, doesnt really flow with it the rest of it

@artie Turn down those hi hats thats all i hear! lol but the mixdown could use some work, i know you probably left some headroom, but try some parallel compression on those drums, they sound like they are just chillin in the back or something. Got some nice wobbles going though and i like your little WaaA Yoi

@lysergical Turn down the reverb in the intro its overwhelming and intro seems a little long, you can keep it that length but make some changes to it, as for the rest, your basses were pretty sick, nice and laserish crispyness, and its obvious that the modern talking wavetable, but i like how that sounds it doesnt get old in my book haha

@Nickelwound
It's pretty much all about the samples, u can try eq'ing what u got, but the best thing would be adding a layer or two to fill it out, maybe tune them and eg a little :W:

cheers.

had a listen to your wip. reckon it needs another lead/bass noise in there or maybe gitch up the bass youve got. you could slap some metallic hits in there low in the mixdown washed in a huge reverb to add to the atmosphere. oh and
Image

@pasta - have to agree it needs more going on or at least something to counter that bass to keep it interesting. snare needs to come up/punch through a lot more

@gunslinger - i like the sample, whole thing needs a bit more energy imho. maybe work on the drums a bit.

It might be that the filter starts out really low where you might have taken out the lows so maybe the start of the filter movement isn't audible. That's my guess. It just sounds a little imprecise imo.

Yea I'm interested in the feedback, took a look at my project and I can't seem to find what your talking about? if you have the time could you pinpoint the exact time? because I've been looking for it and can't find what your talkig about :(

@ Ctang. I like the potential here, but right now the sound is really flat and basic. The drums are fairly weak and don't stand out from the mix very well, which is kind of a bad thing for dnb. The bells at the higher end are fairly weak as well. I can hear that they are supposed to be airy, but the definitely need a little more pierce to them imho.

@Artie Fufkin. Nice intro! Sinister sounds in here as well :P Love the drums. The vocal cascade is one of my favorite sounds in a while, awesome work. Only thing I can think of suggesting is to make your main bass stronger/more intense/clearer, because its a little muddled/dull. If you want more length, I'd suggest making alternate more "filthy"/intense versions of your synths, and then create a second drop at the end with a different order or synths and then fade out afterwards. Just a thought.

@ Lysergical. I like the intro, it has a really good atmosphere and great build up. The drop is pretty decent, though the "yoi" synth sounds cheesy and out of place imho. The second drop is sinister and I want more of it. Try putting a simple melody on a high frequency synth in the top of it to take it from awesome to holy shit!
