^^ they've been a headlining for awhile now

they use the whole "72 million youtube views" as a reason to be considered a headline act

If I remember correctly, a few years ago Break Beat Kaos was going to release one of their 'tunes' on vinyl but due to backlash from DOA, Fresh thought better of it and pulled it.

What's funny about this whole Grammy bidness is that I now have people that I work with and such (and who are generally totally clueless about all music that's not watered-down Top 40 pop) coming up to me and saying "AHHH! So that's dubstep! This is what you listen to?"

To which I reply, "Uh... yeah... sorta... not really... no." :cornlol: :corncry:

I can't say I listen to house...all my mates think it's piano leads and uplifting, hands in the air vocals.

If people ask me what I like I tell them I like all sorts and what are their favourite artists. Artists are a much easier way of gauging whether music conversations are pointless or not than genres. And assuming they seem clueless about EDM I'll just say Velvet Underground, My Bloody Valentine, Pixies, Joy Division which there is some chance they'll have heard of.

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.
