x mens days of future past. good interpreation of the comic storyline. annoyed that they blatantly cut out rogue's scenes, and the slight disparity with shadowcat sending wolverine back instead of herself but it made sense in the sense of the film canon. also liked that warpath, sunspot and blink got portrayed. couldn't shake the bishop version from the cartoon series however wheneever he was on screen.

This was actually pretty damn entertaining - funny and a bit dark. Rich guy and his girlfriend make these guys to dares for money and they get increasingly fucked up.

Director's cut of Donnie Darko
Although it's kind of all over the place, it's a really touching movie imo.
Very convincing actors make the odd storyline a lot of fun to follow. I'm glad I didn't watch
the original though, as that would have been overly confusing probably.
The music in this is great as well. The sound in general really.

fiiinally watched Her. the alan watts cameo
has some beautiful ideas, but i thought it went a bit too much into melodramatic territory. but i guess thats just me, i know a lot of people find that sort of thing really good so each to their own. im impressed though, did not think spike jonze the skateboard dude would come out with something this ambitious

Watched Eraserhead the other night. I don't think I get it though. Tried to watch it three times last week and kept falling asleep. That being said, those three times were after 4+ hour long sessions at LES, getting home at 2 am, and watching another film before it.

Just saw Lucy. I wonder if Besson took inspiration from Eisenstein's montage theory when filming the opening sequence.
