That naive excitement about music that I once had is completely gone. I fight with myself constantly while writing tunes because I am jaded and there is nothing I can do about it. It is just something that comes with age. Also my chance to "make it" at least in the way I think that means is no longer an opportunity. Anyway my point is never let some crusty old man put you down. The shit you are doing now isn't for old people, but they will be old some day and then you may get that respect you deserve.

good sig tune man, I like your old jaded man music!

I wont hear a word of this bullshit people are spewing out, I just knew that the original post was gonna turn into this.

there are some really stupid and extremely over generalized arguments going on here, and its sad that people who are older than I am are capable of making such lame statements.

I didn't say anything about those kids, nor am I referring to them in any way. You failed entirely to apprehend my point, and instead chose to huff and puff and stomp around like an adolescent, which is your birth right, and I won't stop you.

But, I believe this thread has had value, and can have more, so maybe you can continue yelling at me in pm about this issue, if you so choose.

Basic A wrote:And about referring him to mount eden noways, might I refer you to Vaski, Trillbass, 16bit, Stenchman, ect.

I bet I could find a shitty sub producer to hold over your head.
I wasn't referring to mt. eden as brostep, I don't think mt eden is brostep, correct me if I'm wrong. A lot of brostep is masterfully produced with bucketsful of blood, sweat and tears.

My point is, as I stated, the mere fact that something receives wide public attention does not make it worthwhile. To put it more simply in jon's terms, despite the fact that mt. eden is total shit, everyone seems to have heard about it.

And to make it absolutely explicit: The fact that everyone has heard brostep does not make brostep worthwhile.

apples and oranges taste good, but if you eat just one all the time it gets old and you never know what you are missing in it's counterpart...

I had to check what thread we were in before posting this  I don't think a whole lot of bare knuckle arguing was going on here. The fml thread, yeah, that was some drunken rowdiness. I think this thread was fruitful.

Dood, I love the pacas so much. I would really really like to just have 10 of them wandering around my apartment. There is nothing about them I don't love.

Just look at their knees for christ's sake.
