Taking a few weeks out of it tho has helped. I sat down a bit the other night and could get down 2.5 mins and the flow was going ok I think. If you can get half way the other half is easy.

i love the snare in disko rekah (and everything else about it)
some tracks just benefit from a really harsh "metallic" snare its the perfect contrast to all the sub imo :)

I feel you on that. I posted a new tune in the feedback thread, and I realized at some point that if nobody on here is really making or listening to similar sounding stuff, the feedback you're gonna get isn't necessarily all that good. It's still useful to hear what people who are into other stuff think and get some outside perspective, but I never really know what to take to heart if they don't really listen to that kinda stuff in the first place. Either way, it doesn't help the confidence issues :lol:
