I liked the intro, but I don't reallly hear any melodies in your synths, it sounds like a bunch of wobbles with different sounds, and it also sounds if there is not really alot of dynamics in your lead synth

@joelvibes:
Also I like the intro and synth but when the vocal kicks in everything sounds really muddy and dusty, sounds like your missing alot of high frequencies, also teh vocal isn't really crispy, I would look into vocal editing

@Wikum
I really like this track, some original vibes in hear....the sound of the synth it self is very nice, arrangement is also nicely done....I like how it builds op to the breakdown and it keeps things interesting 8)
really nice track:)....2nd drop is even better:)

@Remokari- Great track, I really liked the heavy synths but if i had to come up with criticism it would probably be to just try and make your drops even bigger so when the heavy lines come in it's even easier to appreciate them. really liked the more chilled out parts of the song too so don't forget about them they're just as important in a song with loads of wobbles.

@A-List- Really enjoyed this track. To me sounds kinda like the sort of thing Rusko would come out with mixed with an atmospheric synth part from a Caspa tune and you can take that as a compliment or a criticism, personally, although a lot of people don't, I like Rusko but I get the impression that once you work your way into that style you're there for good, so like I said, compliment if that was anywhere near what you were going for and sorry if you took it as a criticism. Peace.

I've also noticed this - but in the wip thread moreso - I think it's time to clamp down on this. Unless you're first, you absolutely have to provide feedback before posting. And not just "feeling this track man", lazy.

I enjoy listening to everyone elses tracks. Besides, I've found the best way to get feedback is to give it on someone elses track. If you give someone some useful and constructive criticism, I'd imagine that (like I always do) they'd go check your stuff out too.

If someone just posts a track and doesn't give feedback they're just a random name and a soundcloud link to me.

(*edit... good example above.)

If I see a track posted alongside some useful feedback I'll usually check out their link to see who they are and what they do themselves.

Sorry mate, I cant help being busy. If you look at my other posts in this thread and works in progress thread I normaly feedback the whole page before my track when I post. Try not to get your bra twisted so much next time!

I appreciate there are a bunch of people not following the rules, but then they wont any feedback right? No need for anyone to act like the police in this thread.

And before anyone asks I did feedback those who feedbacked my track like I promised, just this time had to do things other way round that's all...

im only gonna give feedback to those who left feedback for others...

@jaydot - sounds real clear and well produced. not sure about the wobbles though, they seem to lack melody.

@a_part - yeah i like this tune, got a jakes kinda vibe to it. percs are tight. would smash a danceflood im sure. gets a tad repetative towards the end though, a more dramatic variation of that lead wobble would solve this i recon.

heres mine...

feedback much appreciated :)

I'm typing stuff as I listen so excuse the short phrases. i like to get it written down as i go rather than trying to remember afterwards. :)

@fassyman - great intro melody. tight production. nice drums sounds. particularly like the kick pattern and the ghost kick notes. cool hypnotic atmosphere. wobs make a nice change after the breakdown. yeah man, i really enjoyed that! As far as constructive crit goes, I'm tempted to say put some more variety in there to keep it interesting... but then I also think the repetition and subtlety may be an important part of its hypnotic quality. Can't think of anything I'd change other than that. :-)

@Capture pt - love the creepy clicky static noises in the intro. disagree with the comment on your soundcloud about bring the hats in earlier. i like 'em where they are. The pitched drums sound out of tune with the bass. may be intentional but it threw me when they first came in. hmm... that clicky static noise may well be either my setup playing up or some sort of artifact in your bounce. i've gone right off it since the intro, it's got reverb on it so it may well be deliberate. sounds like scratched vinyl.it's doing my head in. overall, the vibe is very cool but it doesn't really go anywhere at the moment and could do with some more dynamics or changes. :)

@dav.id - is that a dog barking! neat intro. i like the ring on the synth. the synth sounds evolve nicely throughout. bell perc is really nice. overall very cool and original. hard to comment on the mixdown as it's so far from anything I've ever mixed. sounds good to me though. :)

@remokari - yeah!! this sounds awesome. i love the production. holy shit the drop to the dirt... hang on, i gotta stop typing and listen to that again properly. oh shiiit it just dropped again at 1:39ish. i can't give you any feedback other than i LOVE it. it stays interesting throughout. the sounds are great. holy crap i could gush about this all night but i'd rather listen to it again instead.

I think I reviewed everyone else already...

Anyways. I've taken into account the feedback I've got on my track. I've tweaked it up. Sorted the levels. Redone the sub. Changed the kick and snare. Generally beefed it up some and given it a mastering polish. I can't hear what it sounds like at all. It just sounds like noise to me now. My ears are broke.

Any and all feedback is welcome. I'm particularly interested in if you guys think it's done now or if I should give it another going over. Turn it up loud! :D

Take it easy and thanks in advance... end of epic post. ;)

yeah I normally use alot of drastic variations, but I always got alot of critics that it is to crowdy and doesnt flow that good....so I chose to have some more unity

Hey guys just finished this up.. my first track in a few days or so and I'd love some feedback on it.

Soundcloud

@Dav.id - maaaate, fucking crazy track, really really like the style of this. I faved it. It's pretty unique sounding with a really cool groove!

@DookiehowserOG - epic intro, nice use of pianos and other instruments. The drop is pretty damn heavy, really fuckin great variations on the bass. I like this, a lot! faved also.

@Capture pt - atmospheric as hell man, i love the subtle crispy crackly noise.. almost sounds like its on bad vinyl, really nice texture. This tune is haunting the fuck into me haha, nice one! It's not usually the sorta thing I'd listen to but I listened to this all the way through.

@JayDot - this intro is filling me with anxst already! The drop seems a little weak to me, may be because the intro was so powerful then it seems to drop a little weaker. Still the groove is definitely there. I love the fading strings and atmosphere in the background, very haunting vibes. Reminds me a lot of Substep infrabass.. Really nice man, just work on the mix a little more I'd say.

@ Pyroclasm - jeeeesus, some haunting as fuck tracks here at the moment. Cool intro although the sample vocal part seemed really out of place.. could use some EQ'ing. Drop is pretty heavy although im not too fond on the synth noise... seems a little weak or muddy. Again I'd say work on the mix a little more and you'll be sorted for a decent track!

That's all I've got time to do right now, but ill see if i can make time to feedback some more tracks.. really enjoying listening to everything though, some fresh stuff here. I feel kinda shit posting my track now since I dont think it lives up to half of the gold on here. :-/
