my mistake, i''m used to my old specs, its a quad core intel xeon 2.66 ghz. I had my cpu limit set lower than usual i just realized, after turning it back up I managed to get 12 running at once, but it was starting to get laggy.

I have this, its pretty good, alot easier to use then massive, but if you know how to use massive, use that, you have way more control and waaay more ways to sculpt that personal sound...but i will admit razor gives you a nice full sound, which im sure most are looking for, it will deffinetly save time and processor popwer in the long run...

What you can do with pitch with this thing is amazing, so much more than standard pitch bend type stuff.

The dirty bow preset he plays reminds me of Bubble Gutz by Apster. Wish I could learn how to make that sound.

Anyone modded there razor yet?

and also you know the frequency analiser type thing at the top,,, in 3d mode you have the blue lines, you can grab and move them around but i cant hear it changing anything... is it just a visual thing?

My desire for Razor has led me back to lazer bass. Understand it a bit better now. Pretty powerful for the nasty.

Bah after hearing all this I'm debating springing for it. I'd just hate to grab it, only for it to be included in Komplete 8...

What I think would be a great addition to Massive/Razor would be if you could customize the wavetable fader option so you could have the wavetable glide between two different waves of your choice instead of just the presets

In massive, just have 2 separate oscillators setup and automate the amplitude of both. Compress to ensure they stay the same volume :P

^ but then the oscs are just added together, what if you could multiply them, or divide them, or through them into all kinds of crazy functions... oh wait, you'd have gladiator.

i realize.

anyway the dude on the yt video that does the demo sound like that nice man that wanted to give you candy when you were a kid: " look, the candy is nice and sweet, notice how you can easily remove the wrapping? I love that... now take of your pants."

also the bit: "watch now, it gets squeezed" , my favorite line.

I thought massive was about as easy to use as it gets :s how do you operate this synth? By randomly slapping it with your cock?
