there's 3 or 4 just on the front page from a quick scan of the titles
i'm not even gonna include the topics that can be answered by people cracking open their manual (assuming they have one)
seriously do a quick count on just the first page of the board of how do i sound like threads..., then do another run down of should i buy..., then do one of topics already covered in the stickies, then do one of what i previously said (manual or a quick look at the company who made the products website) and report back with what interesting topics are left cause i'm not seeing any from a quick scan

and i mean production related topics that can spark some conversation and usage of brain not does your favorite producer wear boxers or briefs, how many hours since you started producing have you stared at your monitor drooling in a zombie like stupor, lets wank over shit we can't afford yet, i can make tunes but i can't name em (come up with a real problem), etc

like something advanced or that requires a little bit of thought to be put into replying to, maybe even a group effort

examples? as i said before we could use this thread to compile ideas for quality threads instead of just agreeing with each other about how bad this place is right now. constructivity n shit.

i like the idea of a series of reverse-engineering threads. every month or week or so there'd be a specific sound, technique, tune or whatever else which we could all go and, well, reverse engineer together. it could be just rough concepts too, i dont know man. probably the best idea would be having a vote as to what's the subject of the thread and when it's "finished" (as in we're all either happy with the results or give up because it's not fun) the next thread starts, maybe the guys who contributed the most get to name a few possible next subjects and we get to vote again.

but tbh i doubt people would be interested in it. either that or tons of people who don't plan to actually contribute and just want the results vote for some new brostep fad sound. but it's a nice idea anyway.

I was just reading something about the amount of time you put into something, and I started thinking how much time have I put into this something I never done before. It's strange how the hours add up. I don't think it's a recurring topic around here, and I said their was a part 2, which is more of a discussion.
