the thing that kills me is excision got himself a nice set of barefoot monitors so he has to hear the shit (then again he is always on the road)
i just find it to be a shame because it's getting noticeable when their older stuff had great masters

You can go loud, we have loud cut's, it's a fine line, a ridiculously loud cut (from the lathe to then go for pressing) is in danger of not playing back as well, as this would mean increased horizontal and vertical movements of the stylus in the groove, it'll probably skip all over the place. Sending really hot signals from the cutter amp to the head, can damage the cutter head. You'd be looking at paying thousand's to repair.
