also, for every person that dies of a gunshot wound in the US seven die of medical error. BAN HOSPITALS

America has a constant diet of fear, nurtured by the narrative behind events like these and the news thats put out during every 6pm newscast, and thats the basis for the the whole cycle. Im pretty much repeating the premise for Bowling for Columbine, but its full stupid here. Guns are one one side the problem and on the other side the solution to your fears.

With guns, the genie is already out of the bottle. If anyone has a magic wand to take us back to prior to the invention of the firearm, have at it, but if not, bunker down.

Sorry read the quote wrong. It was in relation to school shootings. Its a bathroom fact book. The quote is " you are more likely to die in a school cafeteria or by a vending machine falling.on you than to be.the.victim.of a.school shooting"

Been to that theater a couple times and live a couple miles or so away from the dude who did it.
Thankfully, no one I know personally was there but
One of my old friend's good friend died...
Also, there was another unrelated shooting about an hour or so before this took place.
Two gangsters unloaded in the gas station parking lot across the street from my house.
Crappy time to live in colorado lately.

If you're in the state of mind that you would have wanted the victims to act like the nutjob - going on a spontaneous vigilante action right there in the cinema, well then there's no logic that can save you and you're actually helping out the next fucking psycho.
