but back to an earlier post i didn't know raves were about survival
Dubstep and Ketamine
I think the problem here is that a medical ' ' professional ' ' is handing out advice based on (at best) anecdotal ( spellingcasino addict wrote: I spoke to a doctor friend about it recently... he said 'hash and grass, fine...' but 'seriously, don't ever smoke skunk again'.
The problem we have (in this country) is that most of the (clinical) studies being done into the long term use, or abuse, of thc are being done in Pysch. wards. No surprises that they docs are saying drugs r bad then really . . . cos 100% of young people survay'd in psych wards, whod been using drugs also had mental / emotional problems
well...
Rah what a long and thoroughly pointless thread... just comes down to personal preference really... these topics always end up the same... different people have different reactions/experiences/opinions (misinformed or otherwise) with regards any drug, be it ket/skunk/booze... but if you're determined to get as out of your head as possible on a night, stay in so other heads don't have to deal with the wastage, seeeeen? I have no issue with anyone who chooses to take a certain drug... as I've had plenty in my time, but I can't be dealing with rave casualties who can't handle what they've taken and stumble around makin twats of themselves and gettin in the way of some serious music appreciation (dancing).
I ain't posted in a little while, but it seems the board has taken on a more doa/dnba feel to some of the threads... too much aggro posting without sound arguments/reasoning just stoopidness dat i dnt lik an mans hoo cnt tipe propa. fix up... safe
And if you're a poorly horse or in serious pain in casualty, ket's great.
delete this thread mods...

ain't been on the board for a while and saw this thread...couldn't believe it.
what ya talkin about bluds - this is dubstep.
no room for a dirty hippy drug like k.
get things straight - most dubstep producers are smokers, most people appreciating dubstep on the the dancefloor are smoking and / or drinking.
end of.
it's not a rave. it's not about losing it. it's about intensity.

ketamin makes a mess of people, if your gonna have downers just stick to valium and benzodiazepenes(long word!!!) in general. only one thing, why r u havin downers at a fuckin dancehall, club whatever. you got bad nerves or sommat, people usually like to go up before they come down.

So just to clarify, as the wording was actually quite offensive, sorry.
About the anti-social thing, i think it can be in one sense in that it is very introspective, and at a rave/club it puts you very much in your own world. But in another sense its not, when ive done it with friends in the house, while at the height of it you're not really talking, there is a sociability in the shared experiences and understanding of one another's headstate. Regardless of which, i think there is very much a place for introspection with drugs, i love drinking or whatever other 'sociable' drug you want to talk about, but i also love spending time in my own space, thinking, and drugs of various kinds can allow you a completely different perspective, a very interesting one of which is ket in my opinion.

If you'd read the thread you'd know it's used medically for humans too.U-Basstard wrote:ok, can't be arsed reading the whole thread, so somebody may have pointed this out already.............

Livin in the international hotspot for drugged up tourists, I can def see the sense in that statement .... I was hopin that Dubstep would herald a new era of minimal mashedness and socialy smokin smilers, alas this thread on the oh so unspecial "K" has made me once again realise that music is seen less as an answer and more as a means of occupying time or enhancing journeys inward.
In the ever resonant words of James Brown ...... bunch of arse mate!
