if you are going to rework someones music in my opinion you should respect their concepts and reasons for making the tune.

You need your head checked if that's your opinion.
Damn there's a lot of ignorant people on these forums, I'm actually quite surprised as I thought dubstep is a genre followed by the types of people who aren't so condescending and utterly judgmental about music.

So, how the fuck are you supposed to know, let alone respect, the concepts and reasons of any artist without getting inside their head? This remix, in MY opinion, is great because it achieves exactly what it was set out to achieve. I think 8bit's been a little unlucky in his decision to actually release it to the blogs etc and I think the aim of the tune has been compromised as a result. But for some of you guys who come slating him for doing what the man wants to do with his music? And to question his ability and passion as a DJ? That's just plain out of order.

I'm loving Burial just as much as the next dubstepper right now and yes he is setting the scene alight, but fuck some of you guys are actually preaching like you're worshipping a goddamn deity (no offence to the man himself, but some of this shit is getting out of hand!)

Some of you need to chill the fuck out.

Simply editing a track so it works better in your sets isnt even worth discussing, he did it and the world remarkably still continues to turn.
