i went to take a picture of my fish "Hal" a few minutes ago so ya'll could see how colorful he was.

but then i discovered that he died last night and all his colors disappeared. he's just plain white now.

he was such a cool lil guy. used to do dances and nibble my finger.

my parents cats (from a year or so back) - the ginger one is now a homicidal killing machine - rats, mice, shrews, birds, rabbits appear frequently in bloody piles in the hallway.

that's the first time i've looked at a pair of cats and thought 'they look related' but then my second thought was 'they look like datura' so... yeh.
