Meh, producers can do whatever they want. Just from my experience is that breakcore producers generally make really lame, formulaic, predictable dubstep.

Kinda funny how so many breakcore producers complain about how breakcore has gotten stale around the time it became more diverse and branched out musically, while they have no problem with making the blandest dubstep in existence.

most dubstep by the cliche big names is shit.. really, when you take away the fact that it's made by a big name, it's just another tune.

breakcore producers have done some amazing dubs, the recent krumble ep was wicked, ebola does mental tunes, cardopusher has been rinsing it.

i don't think there are any absolutes...there is a lot of gash breakcore hence those guys make gash dubstep and the same goes for the fact the big names are getting a bit lazy with their tunes....all their best are the old tunes now....

boxcutter is the best producer for me.....reso is really impressing me as well...he came from breakbeat i believe...

Oh he does. There's just a number of breakcore producers who made their name in breakcore, like the bigger ones, jumped on the dubstep bandwagon, and release bland as hell dubstep. As I said, generally. I'm the first to give mad props where props are due. I mean, I dug Somantic Responses' dubstep on this page. o.o

Belgium's too small to stick to one city, it all depends on where we can get the best venue.

Bwa, Holland is not so bad as far breakcore is concerned, I've been booked there heaps of times, Tilburg and Den Haag seem to have the biggest scene, Not Your Monkey Not Your Robot is a nice crew, but I've played in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Enschede, Groningen, Eindhoven, so there are crews and afficianados a bit everywhere I think. http://unitedelementsofhate.net/events is a holland centered breakcore event agenda. I have a show in Eindhoven 1st of october. a thursday. weird.

Hah, yeah, United Elements of Hate and Breakcore.nl are my resources when it comes to figuring out who's playing what.

And yeah, it's not too bad. There's just not as many monthly events as there could be. Like there's a Wood every so many weeks, right? We don't really have many crews, let alone regional ones that organize a lot in the area who organize breakcore events on a semi-regular basis. Nijmegen gets a lot of good shit, I suppose, Xanopticon, Bryan Fury and the Teknoist played there a few months ago.

Enschede's my hometown, I knew there's a bit of breakcore here and there but I have the habit of missing that shit. I take full responsibility for THAT. o.o I missed you when you played in Enschede with FFF, but caught you at Dour. What are the odds.
