You got to realize, that what you're doing, carrying a bag of fresh dubplates from al the hottest producers, playing them all over the world almost every weekend, getting a pumped up crowd in front of you whenever you play, is what most people here are dreaming of! (myself including I must admit

) So personally if that would ever happen, I def wouldn't give a flying fuck about what some internetwankers had to say about me..

But part from that,
everything has haters and lovers.
So big up skream, still on of my fav producers! Many many many friends of mine said dubstep was boring as was going nowhere until I played them Bleu Eyez, then they were like

Now they're hooked!

I'd like to put you in front of FL with an apreggiator and a couple of filters and see wether you come up with a tune that is even half as good as any skream tune ever made
Somebody on here said "a good producers make his tunes sound simple to make"
amen to that!

I think that the reason people talk about skream, benga, rusko, caspa and all the big players in such a way in this forum is actually because dubstep (and those producers) has become so massive and the main players are proper like, 'stars'.
Average joes will always discuss big people in this way because they are so far removed from like 'normal world'.
So extrapolate this and you get people chatting about britney spears and every detail of her life.
So really, skream et al shouldn't get offended by the haters, just take it of a sign of how famous n that you are

equating Skream with Mozart would be overrating him, saying he's one of the top rated tune makers/players in dubstep is a pretty spot on

pointless thread indeed.
i'm just curious - all of those who claim Skream to be genius - what exactly makes him genius? seriously. is it the production level, the musicality or seomething else?
i couldn't force myself to listen at least one tune from his debut LP properly, tho, when Moving Snare was release came out, i was suprprised, the same with percression - these tunes are dope.
personally i'd say he's legend, a pioneer, no doubt about that, but i can't find any reason to call him a genius. boxcutter is genius, skream looks more like a party animal to me

but seriously - what are your criteria to be regarded as genius?

Why is boxcutter a genius?
Because he's on Planet Mu?
