morning after pill is readily available at most clinics and gynos and isn't terribly expensive. poor mans morning after pill is to take two bc pills in one day because thats basically all it is.

but yeah, i have had a similar experience in the past, girlfreind forget to take her contraceptive pill, neglected to tell me, went clinic got free morning after pill. was very simple.

yeah, i was in the room with the nurse when she took it, and the nurse was like. "if you throw up within four hours, just come back and we'll give you another one"

tbh she was pretty fucking clueless, but then again so are most of the women at these sexual health clinics, not that i frequent them that often . just had a few pregnancy scares, and some dodgey mates lol

wait, all the contraceptive pill does is release a hormone that tells your body it is pregnant so you dont realese and egg? surley that wont kill a baby?

I heard that the morning after pill actually reduces the chance of actually falling pregnant in the future, any truth to this?

both my sister and i were conceived while my mom was on birth control.

i do not trust it.

and my mom was 19, dad was 21 when i was born.

i could not deal with a 3 year old me right now.

the pill doesn't *only* do that. it also works against implantation, which is why Dubya is trying to pass legislation on health care providers being able to not prescribe most birth control pills because they stop a fertilized egg from implanting, which he considers to be aborting life.

i know if you're a woman with regular usage, it can take up to what....6 months to a year for some women to get the hormone levels back to a place where its possible for them to have children. However, its not really something you can bank on either. And the morning after pill is only a few days worth of hormones. usually that kinda reaction happens after extended usage.
