There used to be loads of panhandlers at LAX but they seemed to have disappeared the last few times I've been there.

Also, the koru club lounge there is really nice man, way nicer than most of the ones over here. :cornlol:

Enjoy your time in the States budsteq.

Last time I was in the States I had to change at LAX and asked one of those guys how to get from somewhere to somewhere else in the airport (I forget where, terminal to another terminal more than likely). He gave directions, and I thanked him and walked off. He then quickly stood in front of me, and said that as he'd taken the time to give me directions, I should take the time to speak to him about [generic charity money grabbing thing]. I'd been drinking heavily on the flight from Heathrow, and gave him a cheery British "fuck off before I kick your teeth down your throat", with a smile and a wave as he moved aside.

I just laughed my ass off.
I went to the factory floor to get a photo of a crate loaded with parts.
I had to stand on top of the crate which means it`d difficult to balance.
So the guy next to me sticks out his arm and shows me his fist.
I give him a few strange looks and punch his fist.
I don`t really know the guy so punching his fist seemed weird but I thought nothing of it.
He looks at me strangely and says, "Hold my arm to help you balance."
I felt like such a wop, HAHAHAHAHA

That Stephen Fry series about language. Fucking brilliant.

Apparently Paul McCartney is already feeling unsure about his new marriage, word is she's already spending twice what the last one did on shoes.

I love the discussions he has with people. It's like aural heaven hearing him and others of equal or even greater intelligence discuss language. I could listen to them speak for hours. The episode on swearing and taboo words and such was definitely my favourite.
