To the left is a yamaha p-60, an old fostex four track and a bunch of guitars and drums and stuff.

A fellow Jerker user! I have mine set up almost the same way except I bought an extra shelf and have the monitors on each. The pic is in here somewhere. Can't get the parts anymore tho

Ahh the joys of being poor...

Don't knock it. My most productive time was back in the day on a beat up shitty old pc, i was banging out many tunes daily. Now i've got a fairly alright setup I've had writers block all year.

+1 I was far more creative with an old beatup laptop. Now I have far too much choice and make my music unnecessarily complex.

Easy to get around. Limit yourself. I quite often limit myself to just one synth, or one sample.etc. - really gets the creative juices going.

This is the last picture I took of my studio about 2 months ago. The only thing that has really changed is that I'm getting a new table/rack for my Moogerfoogers and my Modular and I've gotten more modules since the picture. I'm trying to instill more analog sound into my dubstep and I collected all this gear whilst making electro and house.

TBH I would rock 8 inch monitors no matter what size the room I had but you can't have one in the corner like that. If you have to have your desk there, try angling the desk in the corner at least. Pretty amazing how you have so much packed into the corner tho. I have a small house too but thankfully I have the attic to myself minus the fact it's our only storage area.

The last 3 setups are all great and very contrasting. I would feel comfortable in any of them. 1st one I can relate to the mess. I am not very honest in that I cleaned my room before I took the pics. Mine is typically chaotic. The garage looks like an old mans workshop. Looks nice too plus you can spill beer without fear and put joints out on the floor +2. Then the last one almost looks liek a legit studio. Just the environment itself is inspiring. I have always wanted to do this to my studio. I just have a lot of projects to do around the house. Enough time and money and I will sort it all out.

Very nice. I've been wanting to build a modular myself, but I never get around to starting. I definitely takes a commitment, getting all of the modules and whatnot. What is that top synth on your stand?

about the wall paper, i went down to london for like 4 days or something a couple of years ago and when i came back my rents had just redone my whole room without saying anything, so glad i went up to my room 1st before going out because i went to my mates and got wired and ketted, would of freaked me out when i got home

anyway theres no other place i can have this desk as its fixed to the wall, but like i said im moving out of here by the end of this month and will have a bigger space to play in

I love my modular. Its like my personality is coming out in the decisions I make in regards to it.

The top synth is a DSI Prophet 08. IMO, the best synth for pads ever made (strictly opinion on that statement). Obviously I'm biased, but thats what I love about it. I love the basses out of my Little Phatty. I run it through my Moogerfoogers to give it some more bite and some craziness. My Juno 106 is great for all around sounds. It can create just about anything and it will sound dope. Plus, I can get some great sounds from it in a matter of minutes. SOOOOO easy to program. The modular will get you lost though.... thats for damn sure.
