Re: TUNA! LIVES FOREVER
I don't think he's gonna get very far down there. He might make it to brazil but now is not a good time to go there. Ever since they were selected to host the world cup their crime rate has almost doubled. He should probably go north instead. No one ever goes north anymore.

Really really thought I could get a track together for this week, so held back the post, was sure I could do it, but every day has... not come to fruition. Was very close. Seriously, apologies!

Re: TUNA! LIVES FOREVER
Jizzman: digging the overall atmosphere, though i feel there could be more variations with the chiptune-ish incidentals. mixdown sounds fine to me. regarding the beats, i feel the hihat could be a tad quieter, but maybe it's just me... also i'm not sure about the snare, i feel it doesn't fit with the rest of the track, but again, maybe it's personal taste
@JBE: great atmosphere.i like what you have here but it feels like it's lacking some layers. i'd add some more percussive elements, even if just subtle stuff, foley here and there. alternatively i'd suggest layering over some ambiance that can be misconstrued as "percussive" (think water dripping, or vinyl crackles etc) to blend with the beats and sort of gel the whole thing together? not sure if that makes sense, i just woke up. also i feel your bass could be a bit grittier at times.
@Bud: well, you know how i feel about trancey arpeggios by now
sorry bud, not really feelin this, the autotuned vocals are fun though. sorry, it's shit feedback

@Bud: i'm not sure what you changed since you submitted it last time, still feeling it, great work on the sound design. one thing i think could be improved is the main snare, it's alright but at times it sounds a bit dry, the way the track is built a really big reverb on some of the hits could work to fill the space and give it a dubby feel, not sure if that's clear. other than that i'd say it sounds pretty much finished to me, it works like that.
@nowaysj: back on form, really liking the short snippets of harp/vocals. i feel the mixdown could be different, like the beats, esp. the snares could be a tad louder. but then again, i think i tend to make beats stand out too much in my personal mixdowns, so maybe disregard that comment... also, i'd be tempted to say it could be either a bit shorter or more varied (where are the switch-every-20-seconds you used us to?
), but fair enough if it's meant to be an instrumental. who's the vocal sample at the end btw? bush father?
