i dont follow hip hop much these days, but whats with kendrick lamar being rated, i dont get it, sounds like run-of-the-mill radio play fodder to me :/
admittedly i only listened to a few bits here and there though

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.
Re: Post your unpopular opinions.
eeh ultra, certainly wasn't expecting to be agreed with on that one, minor threat write some catchy riffs imo, and fugazi's interlinking guitar work and basslines are cool
nd yeah i like a band that's made a success of themselves through hard work despite being 100% independent and stubbornly principled but if u dont like em that's no skin off my nose
also good kid mad city was fantastic

I tried to get into Minor Threat, can't do it.

Same with Fugazi actually, have listened to so much of their stuff, and it just hasn't clicked, unlike Rites Of Spring who clicked straight away.

						Re: Post your unpopular opinions.
my mate prefers them too but i didn't love em, prefer that guy when singing with ian mackaye, find him a bit too emotional on his own (avoiding using the word emo cos its such a pejorative haha)

Re: Post your unpopular opinions.
First Fugazi EP is really good. After that it can get a bit serious morally focused stuff that can be boring, but with some good tracks here and there still
Also Minor Threat are ok. Have some good tracks but loads that sound the same. In terms of early Dischord on the hardcore front Void's side of the Void/Faith split and Government Issue - Legless Bull EP are my favorites

Would chuck in Pixies and My Bloody Valentine in there for best 80s/90s band though I know for most that's probably not the case.
