Don't watch that. He lives in Texas so I doubt you will ever cross paths. However, saying that Dubstep tourism is taking off so maybe you will, I doubt he looks exactly like his avatar tho

I have to say I weren't keen on the whole dismissal of the lfo/wobbly dubstep thing cos all the good tracks are made by the same people and its not like all their styles don't overlap in certain instances, just as individuals or crews/collectives retain a character all of their own that other professionals would not be able to copy even if they wanted to.
The whole ownership thing is not good in my opinion either. I was instantly into the whole Anti Social thing as soon as i heard it(probably late, mid last year), because it has a more rootsy sound then what was available at the time, bar Hijack (Dally and Babylon Timewarp are big!!!!). I have loved reggae since I loved music when I was 8-12 years old. Not that its just reggae but its roots are clear and it just is my cup of tea end of.
But that sound does not begin and end with Anti Social, you mans need to check these Swedish guys El Wiz if you havent already, who make some melodies on their reggae style tunes that are on a par with some of the best 70's and 80's reggae! For some reason a lot of Europeans (not British) are really picking up on the reggae side of dubstep becuase of its universal appeal and familiar but different culture. Kromestar you mentioned, although I find his style more dancy and less """"intelligent"""" than yours, he is a badman though.
Basically everybody end the waffle, there is a whole world of producers out there with a whole world full of sounds! You blatantly like a lot of them yourselves, and Anti Social are most definitely on top of their game!!!
So lets see more collabos, more DJ's spinning each others tunes and in the words of MC neat "With a little bit of luck we can make it through the night"!

Different directions into dubstep are good, because they keep it intriguing. As long as it doesnt go fucking pop its all good.
ANTIPOP!

its true IF the reggae thing happens to get rinsed maybe we'll all be catting something else. Maybe Liquid should have its place and time as a genre. I prefer the name gangsta boogie tropical juice though! Second thoughts, nah... Could get confusing in Morissons!
I agree with the bit about Anti Social being the future though. Check Finland as well though i swear down, its large!.. and Denmark, Obeah are sick

You know what though, as a litmus test for the impact your making this thread pretty much speaks for itself, why would they care if they didn't know who you man are, just be careful... the stalkers on this forum are a nightmare

It's fine that you want to announce the direction that your sound is going. No-one is trying discredit you about that. But to pigeonhole it with a name that's a subgenre of dnb, yet tell people to NOT associate it with dnb, is kinda contradictory.

Yes this sound is still evolving, and yes it's going to take on many forms along the way. To pigeonhole it with dnb terms isn't going to promote that, it's only going to keep people thinking that it's still in the shadow of dnb, which a number of people are trying to break free from.

So bring on the new sounds, cuz i anxiously await them. Everyday I find something new that I like in this genre, because there's that diversity. Like I said before, that's the beauty of this whole sound. It encompasses so many different sounds and influences, that almost everyone can find something in it that they enjoy. :D:

To be honest, if you keep making tunes as good as Hardfood and Mirage you can call them what you damn well please!

I have an idea of the sound I want to create in my head, but its more of a picture than a word, otherwise I'd probably try and describe it too.
