One of my favorite tunes from way back when. Blunted had such an awesome feel. My summer music from back in 2002/2003.
I seriously forgot how amazing most of the tunes I posted are. Holy crap. Like, these songs were huge parts of my puberty and early teens. I'd rock the Tash, Pharoahe Monch, Declaime and Louis Logic like there ain't no tomorrow. o.o I sorta lost that, sadly. It's just such good stuff.
Also, the NY scene of the late '90s is every bit as good as the one of the early '90s. Especially the scene associated with the heads from Polyrhythm Addicts. Those soulful, jazzy beats with an almost housey vibe and those fucking MCs. Fuck. Apani B Fly Emcee and Shabaam Saadiq especially. Hotdamn. o.o
