I think people are just going to continually keep adding "step" or "core" to whatever prefix perpetually. What is another good suffix?

"good" lol

I think hard is the granddaddy. Infact "hardcore" I don't think will ever be topped, it even covers like 3 or 4 completely different genres including porn! Funk or funky too. Funkstep needs to happen 4rill.

Human dna is comprised of four primary building blocks, Adenine, Thymine, Guanine, and Cytosine, and these four discreet groups can combine into the 3 billion base pairs of the haploid human genome, which correspond to an information content of about 750 megabytes.

I suggest that with the fundamental building blocks of Core, Step, Wave, and Nu, sequenced into a chain of data capable of fitting onto an ordinary thumb drive, we could create a genre so large, so powerful, it's likeness has never been seen before.

Thread needs more black metal.
:Start rant:
Hahaha you guys are probably going to hate the new collab Droid Sector and myself are doing then. Attempting to make the most self indulgently complex over the top out and out brutal tune we can think of, am so sick of half arsed wobble shitcore bollocks that's supposedly heavy but incredibly derivative, unimaginative and sounds like every fucking other thing out there.
Either way, I don't think it's up to anyone to decided what it is or isn't dubstep (or any other genre for that matter). That's precisely what drew me to the music in the first place. Do what you want, who gives a shit. It's music, not unified field theory. :w:
:End Rant:
I don't normally rant but I'm tired and feel like taking it out on the internet
