@LordBid - Really liking this man, more so than the original in fact. The addition of that lead sound adds loads to the track too, great sound altogether.

the only thing i'd like to hear for this track is a more aggressive kickdrum, something punchy like you would hear in a High Rankin tune.
This kick is fine but i think that would seal it for me.. solid stuff though.

@Hutluty - song 1 : Well im no music theorist by any means but I think more needs to be going on in whatever this is. It plays the same loop over and over and over and over and over and over and over... where is it going? if your writing some kind of melodic piece I woudl suggest adding more variations or something. This seems to lack direction in where its going, adding new elements doesn't really help the fact that it is mostly one melody over and over for the most part. Its very pretty but super repetitive and lacks direction.

song 2: same deal here too loopy, hearing the same bloopy noise for 6 minutes just doesn't do it for me. Your sound design and mix is pretty solid def, but I think the same idea just keeps playing and it really doesn't hold my attention. I def like elements of this track but I want to hear more.

typing while listetning and after hearing the whole song

#bledbox
wrote on soundcloud. sick tune! :)

#nonxero
haha funny sample. I like the intro. nice pluck/guitar/synth or wwhatever it is ;p. nice noisy lead. I would of cut it off for the drop though. I think the track is good procued and youäve maanged to get some really nice sounds! drums are ok.

#hutyluty
wow. really nice intro. sick atmos! as djraynes commented, bring the leadsynth(?) earlier! it sounds really well. nice progression in the whiolöe track, a bit too long for my taste though. good work man.

#conflux
I would of just skipped those quite annoying 28 secons at the start! :P quite useless imo. sweet drop. don't know what to sayh about it other than I Like it :P that bass needs more EQ and mixing though! maybe some more compression. sweet man :)

FOR YOU WHO DIDN'T TRUST MY ETHICS :P
I know it sucks with people just dropping their tracks and expecting feedback without giving to others. I hope you are all satisfied with the feedback I gave and i would appriciate some on my track too. it's a work in progress, a dubstep/triphop remix of "Notorious B.I.G. - Party and Bullshit". I perosnally think this remix got a bit of potential and I really wanna finish it off nicely. I've been having some thoughts about it and I think I will add some more reeverb to fill in the presence in teh drop. might add some more sub to drop too since a few commented it. please give me some more feedback on this one! MADLY appriciated ;) alright, here it is again! I can return feedback to all which ask for it..

@Lordbid: I don't like the original but you managed to do it a bit of justice, the drop isn't as powerful as it could be though.

@Sniperdub: Loving the intro with the choir. Nice track.

@Bledbox: Wow. That is all. :D

I'm going to be greedy also and post a couple:

@Jaydot: I will only review one track, because i think your feedback should be a little more profound.
One-fine-day: I can dig the vibe on this. Piano gives sweet early morning vibes. On a more technical level,
i think your drum sounds need more processing. The kick sounds all right, but the snare sounds really muffled and far away, you might want to put it
a bit more upfront. The reversed cymbal needs some fx as well, sounds really dry for me. The shaker is a bit too straightforward.
Overall i get the impression you made this piece in a jiffy, which isn't a bad thing per se, but you
neglected some technical details. Good one nonetheless.

@Superginger: Typing as i'm listening. Rap comes in nicely, you did a good job there.
I think you should get rid of the hi reverb on the kicks, as it makes the high register of the track a
bit messy. Bass isn't very complex, but i think it works, might need a little more reverb though.
I dig the low bit synths very much.
Overall i think the production level isn't the highest but you have nice ideas. Definitely a thumb up!

@Dubtronix: Digging the style! You managed to combine the "deeper" dubstep kind with the "filthy".
Not much i can criticize, you sure know how to produce!

@LordBid: Don't know man, i think i've heard better from you. The mix is clean and your levels are good,
but the wobbles strike me as really "fruityloopy" and dry. I can see you went for the "transformer" vibe,
but i'm not really feeling it i'm afraid. You sure know how to produce, but this one seems a bit inspirationless.

This is my latest tune "Bin Laden's cave". I would love some feedback! :t:

@traffik - like the hear me tune, got that blade runner vibe thing going on. could well hunt replicants to this.

@dynexx - on a kryptic minds style. i like. i'd try and bring the snare up in the mix more though. decent track.

@jd legion - absolutely greazy. well enjoyed the track.

new more dub type piece i've just finished.
feedback appreciated.

A soulful and Jazz-influenced Future Garage remix of Houseworq's 'Soul Worq'. The remix is based around those lonely late evening feelings walking home through town seeing visible romance auras surrounding couples coming out of the cinema in each others arms or sitting on the train with lads with their girls falling asleep on their shoulder, and wishing you could find the perfect one for you. The vibes of this track actually reminds me of the vibes that France can sometimes give. You can hear Houseworq's original version of this track here - http://soundcloud.com/houseworq/01-soulful-worq

:D:

Will return any feedback as usual :4:

@Jstick: really like the warm atmosphere sounds but i think your beats would work much better with snappier more garage-y sounds, the two snares at different volumes sound kinda weird to me but that could just be personal taste

@abZ: solid track for a one night session, there's a good groove going on already, but i think it'd be worth adding incidentals here and there to keep it interesting throughout

@wirez: nice chill vibes on this one, not much i can say production wise, maybe i'd just lower the volume the bell-ish synth in the mix, or maybe add variations in the melody cause as it is, it sounds a bit in the front of the mix but never really changes during the track while i kinda expect it to as a listener

@GDavies: good production, i like the textures, especially the arpeggiated synth around the end of the track, i would use more of this one

@Traffikz: some filthy bass patches in there :D a bit too filthy for my taste but the mix and production sound good on my speakers

this said, if anyone wants to listen 'and possible give some feedback) on my weird track... not really sure it qualifies as dubstep but, oh well it's 140 bpm

@Subtep infrabass - big fan of your more minimal stuff you do under the exp. name. Been a big influence on some of my more recent stuff. Love the tune you posted, hope to here from you in that vein.

@Sinisterbeats - sorry mate I haven't spotted it before - regarding to your tune I can say thats a quality beat and I encourage u to sendt it to deep, experimental labels - vocal is hunting and digeridoo (? lol) cool - hihats too prominent/too much highs as on phones are little bit ear huting - thats probably u tried to make the tune louder, quality beat - honestly

Thanks for the feedback! Interesting, it didn't seem loud enough in the mix to me to be perceived as an 'important' element, obviously the Sax steals the show as being the predominant lead instrument. Maybe it's because the bell sound sits around the highest part of the frequency range most susceptible to the human ear and you have slightly sharper hearing than me -q- or if you're listening on a Hi Fi or something it's possible that they might have a slight boost in that frequency area. Hope it didn't ruin the experience for you all the same!
