New Burial - Ego
Re: New Burial - Ego
these are two great tunes, don't know what you guys are whinging about that ego doesn't sound enough like burial.
Just enjoy the tunes, neither sound 100% burial, or 100% four tet or 100% Thom Yorke. Who cares, they are good tunes.

Re: New Burial - Ego
It's more confusion seeing as one article mentioned it being a Burial tune, whereas Mirror would be a Four Tet/Thom Yorke collab.relaks wrote:these are two great tunes, don't know what you guys are whinging about that ego doesn't sound enough like burial.
Though from what I can hear, they're all collabs.

say_whut - I would be interested in speaking with you about the custoer account issue, we've just changed the website and experienced a few tething problems. Any chanc you could call me in the store tomorrow? 029 20 228 990.
Re: New Burial - Ego
if you can't recognise Burial in "Ego", you are fucking deaf.
I prefer Ego over Mirros so far, I ordered it after hearing so I'm happy without participating in the hype.
Anyway, Thom Yorke, I'm not sure. I think his vocals aren't 100% necessary but they're ok.
Two great tunes, but not super special either. A solid release.

Great tunes, love Mirror. What's all this about Burial 'not sounding like Burial' though? Ridiculous thing to say about any producer tbh.
Re: New Burial - Ego
Anyone actually know how many pressed? 1ooo?
Re: New Burial - Ego

Ive read that its thankfully a much larger press than that. Cant find the link now, was on the Fact website I believe where it said something along the lines of there being (not 100% on the numbers exactly) 4000 for North American, 3/4000 for Europe, and 300 for canada.Shirka wrote:Record store say 300 were pressed.
