'BTBAM - Colours' as previously mentioned is my fave album as it works so good as a standalone piece, I can't let this thread go without the most honourable of mentions though...

I'd be a very, very different person without this music in my life

It's between Animals and Wish You Were Here for me. But I always find the 'Pigs On The Wing' bookenders a bit lacklustre. The bridged 8-track version with the Snowy White solo in the middle actually works much better for me. [/nerd]

If everyone in here came up with a solid top ten albums, then with a weighted ranking system, we could probably put together quite a nifty SNH Best Albums of All Time list.

Might be a nice resource to have if we share it somewhere. I'd be happy to do it if people sent their top 10's over.

would it have to be ranked? Cos I could see a lot of people (including me) struggling if you ask for a definite number 1, number 2 etc

just thinking like, if you send a top 10, fully ranked in order of preference, then say:

1st place - 10 points
2nd place - 5 points
3rd-5th place - 3 points
6th-7th place - 2 points
8th-10th place - 1 point

Or something. Open to suggestions.
