Re: Thematic TUNA! week #6 - Psychedelic Theme
I have no idea when these are starting and ending these days tbh.
Re: Thematic TUNA! week #6 - Psychedelic Theme
Ends every Saturday. And welcome to the basement, never mind the bodies.
Re: Thematic TUNA! week #6 - Psychedelic Theme
Heh.
I actually like the basement - away from the hordes of filthmale impersonators, folks who just last week "decided to make teh dubzstepz and now want you to teach them how from the beginning except like don't bore me wif technical hoohaa maaaan", or anybody trying to recreate someone else's sound down to the last detail... So they can use that exact same sound in their own material...
Everybody here, by contrast, is successful by merit of merely making their own original music.

PS: bodies are indistinguishable from beef jerky.

Hmm now that you put it that way I'm thinking we should turn this place into a clubhouse. Keep all the goobs out.
Maybe I should participate in tuna. I'm worried about radiation and mercury poisoning though. Still working on building a sample library in Ableton. Once I get some pad and bass patches I'm good to go. I've been putting off a sound design sesh for the last several days.

I've got a team of physicists and cryptologists locked in a basement working on a secret handshake. Last I checked, it was grey smoke coming from the chimney so they haven't reached a verdict yet. I'll keep you guys posted.

Re: Thematic TUNA! week #6 - Psychedelic Theme
so wouldnt it be the best to make sth so basic that the only explanation would be that it was made under the influence of something strong(this week)
like feat miley cyrus, the fox guys and psy for example
no twist just 4 ot the floor and those electro stuff sounds

I'm waiting for someone else who understands that to post...

Re: Thematic TUNA! week #6 - Psychedelic Theme
lol think about it
a psychedlic song wouldnt be psychedelic
the music was called psychedelic cause outside people couldnt deal with it i guess. but if you make sth psychedelic now you kinda know this 60´s 70´s stuff and tend to replicate it.
so you have to do sth absolutely shitty or ultra wierd to get to the point where nowadays people would call it psychedelic.
considering that the creator doesnt have a saying whether its psychedelic or not

Re: Thematic TUNA! week #6 - Psychedelic Theme
I don't consider psychedelic to be synonymous with inaccessible though... psychedelic music has the ability to transport you to alternate realities. It is like dub but for white people.
