IMO the best thing for motivation is just working out, whatever neurochemical shit it sets off always gets me to be a lot more focused and enthusiastic

I've already recommended 'Drive' by Daniel Pink elsewhere in this thread. It's a book which looks at what motivates us. Can't say enough good things about it. Only about 250 pages, Electronic copy available if anyone is interested
