Yeah i don't like the venue tbh, too much light + just overall a bit uneasy vibeswilson wrote:12'O'CLACK
Big night.
Can people just stay where they are and have a dance though? Jesus Christ. Bigger venue needed perhaps.

Yeah I swear I heard a few old Distance bits last night - Kahn/Neek deffo dropped something like thatwilson wrote:Yeah I picked up on that uneasiness. It's probably again due to the traffic, can't really get into the vibe with the constant distraction and I'm not one of those that can wilfully ignore people trying to pass. Ended up practically hugging a pillar for Dub PhizixWould of tried to say hi to you lot but was a bit fucked off about things yesterday, next time maybe. Said a brief hello and big up to Mary Anne Hobbs though, that was nice.
Ah, there was one tune Mala dropped. Really deep sub and had a kind of understated grimey synth rhythm over the top. Sort of metallic and gritty, like old Distance. Any ideas?

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.

When Mala dropped Spry Sinister, the night truly began for me... Pokes as always, on point!
This had some serious weight, can anyone ID?
And this one...
Think it was Coki who let this run through to it's 3rd drop... can't find the ID though... i know Joe Nice has played it out a few times...
Coki dropped some new stuff, especially excited for the releases of this...(Tune at 27:50)
And this was a bit mad too! Quite hard to hear, but the vocals were dank!!
Haven't seen too much dnb on a system before, but Dub Phizix/Strategy were lethal on the RC1
Kahn and Neek starting off with dubstep and a couple new dubplates and then hit it hard with grime. Missed the very end as i had to dash for a train, but top night!
Saw a surprising amount of people getting kicked out for green though.
