And it is important to remember that most people did not hate graff before media had used some years to make it look like a pastime killer for hustlers and druggies! After that the norm is to hate on tagging and to point out that colored graff is ok if its legal.

I keep reading all this " hes got a great handstyle, nice 'R' or whatever". Is there some reason that taggers cant just tag canvas or there own property?. i mean the sheer arrogance involved, the complete lack of respect for property, for your communities.

property & community are not the same thing.

theres actually a pretty decent argument that property is THE disrespect of community, quite possibly the antithesis.

what the "community" needs to do, is recognize the screams of its children, and actually support the arts & music amongst the youth, which is woefully lacking in all respects.

Do any of you want to re-imburse me?. How about provide me you licence plate number or your parents address and i can have a few people come by and get to work.

perhaps you should throw a couple hundred to a writer you consider a "artist" and have them piece/mural your business. a fresh enough piece will most likely get respect and you wont have anybody catchin tags on your shit.

The narccisim involved in doing this is off the charts. I make art to, but i live my life with respect. I let people choose for themsleves, when and where to see my art, thats what artists do. Having to force your art on people, is proof of how little value it actually has.
