The title of this thread is 'sick grime instrumentals', not 'fedora grime instrumentals'.

Cheers mate & nah man not any more, just doing my own thing now. Just making vibes mixes, gonna try and put one up each week/couple weeks.
Might do Mixlr occasionally and would love to get on a station but not getting anywhere with that particularly atm.

Dropping the IRIE alias now as well.

And looking forward to this madness whatever it is...

"Fedora grime" could turn out to be pretty good if we work at it. The name is only slightly worse than "new wave grime".
Statement of Intent VIP / Sahaquiel v4 single out now on UK Trends.

A violin is one of the most difficult instruments to use in an genre other than classical music. And that tune just shows one of the failures of using that instrument and definitely in a genre so 'cold' as grime. It doesn't fit in the context and it doesn't make the instrumental sick, but ridicoulous and cringe.

There is a big different between strings and the use of a violin on that manner.

Edit: Okay, yeah, fair. But that doesn't change the fact that the tune is cringe.
