Something else, anybody tore his callus before? I tore mine today doing some swinging stuff. Any of you know a cure? I've read about salt water but I'm not sure I can handle that. (Call me a wimp, I deserve it)

A pair of jeans turned into skinny jeans and now they're torn. And they're Levi's for fuck's sake. I'm growing like fuck.

Haha, that's hardly a bulk tho isn't it? Just gonna pig out for a few days with christmas? Me too kind of. I'm gonna neglect macros but stick to my calories.

It isn't broken, it is torn. Had to cut a big piece off.
Thanks OG for the motivation, i'm going to put my hand in a bowl of salt water. Tomorrow :D

Edit: Just gave it a try, first put my hand in salty water but didn't feel anything. So I decided to just throw some salt on it. :q: :q: :q: :q: :q: That's intense. Had me jumping around the living room lol.

just put up with the pain as much as possible. it will grow back harder.

some chump at the gym today was benching on the smith machine and he left all his weights on the bar. Since I was waiting for the machine I asked if he was finished and if he was, could he take his weights off. He looked me in the eye said "nope" and looked at his mate and they laughed. I was speechless. Called him a dickhead under my breath and took his weights off.

He was also using lifting straps on his bench press

There's two groups of knobheads at my gym. One group uses the squat rack for benching, and the bench area for squatting and they use the two at the same time, which is fucking vexing. Then there's another group. I've started getting to the gym 2/3 minutes earlier just to get the bench area before they do (and I hate doing bench first), because they sit there discussing their weekend, no joke, for about half an hour and then there's about 5 of them benching as well, chatting in between each set naturally. Had to ask them to hurry up a few times now. When they got there on Tuesday and I was already in the bench area, they looked genuinely devestated

They also use wrist straps for benching... -q-

I wouldn't worry about it too much, I've torn my calluses many a time. Try not to irritate it doe.

Try putting some salt on it again, it will negate the effects of when you did it last time.

You're lucky to even have two separate bench/squat areas. we just have two squat racks which are shared.

You know you're big when most guys around you look super skinny.

Agree/disagree?

I'm not at that point yet. But I think it rings true unless you have an unnecessarily inflated ego (I know I'm setting myself up for an insult here, shut up). I remember when I was at my biggest that everyone just looked so skinny to me.

Gym is closed pretty much until the new year now. Went for it. Did it.

Curled 55kg.
Benched 100kg. Got 8 reps, but last two were pretty shit, so I'm counting 6. #GTFletcher #SwoleLife

Congrats dude. Adding 5 kgs like that to your curl is a feat.

I'm skipping christmas eve and going to visit my mom and sister a day later to adecuately go to the gym haha. Shit they should be happy to have me around for 2 days.
