Neuer, muller and goetze are the 3 most irritating faces in world football. Goetze looks like something you'd see on a kinder bar

The most remarkable thing about this world cup is that I came 3rd in the fantasy league.

Argentina done well tbh, went very close to taking the best team in the competition to penalties and could have won it on a number of occasions. All that from a team that overall weren't even 2nd best imo.

Messi just didn't seem arsed lol. That freekick

Feel for him a bit though, he wasn't outstanding all competition but some of the players around him were utter dogshit. What was the point in Aguero going? Crock of shit.

if that first argentinian shot on goal that went in but the player was offsides..... man could easily have stayed onsides and still scored imo. never would have gone to extra time.

Not sure how I feel about the Messi best player thing.. I don't think he was the best player but at the same time he carried a team which shouldn't have needed carrying... and took them to within 10 mins of penalties in the final. On paper Argentina are far from "Messi +10 players" but they played like it most of the time.. with the exception of Di Maria and Mascherano.

Lawro can fucking do one.

Chatting absolute dog

Neuer parring Higuain in real-time replay was a lot.

Messi shouldve buried that chance where he rolled it wide.

Schweinsteiger player of the tournament (maybe J.Rodriguez but hard to say when he had less games)

Lol at post-match Germans getting all soppy with their 10/10 fit uber-bitches in front of all the stone-faced Argies

Good world cup

Surprisingly good game for a final that was goalless until the second half of extra time. I thought Argentina were marginally better in normal time, but Germany bossed extra time and deserved the goal in the end. They CERTAINLY deserve the trophy.

Massive ups to Schweinsteiger. Proper warrior performance.

well deserved for the germans, they have a ridiculous squad. Pleased that Ozil had his best game of the tournament last night. Didnt get a single fucking mention from the BBC coverage though, even though he was probably their next best player after Schwein and Boateng.

AMAZING world cup, devastated its over

Yeah, Ozil really turned up last night... he was immense at holding the ball up (some lovely trickery occasionally to do it, too), which doesn't seem to get noticed by anyone but was largely the reason Germany stayed in control, I reckon. Someone mentioned that he'd got more assists than anyone else in the WC... bodes well for August! 8)

Shame we have to be subjected to that BT sport advert now constantly

Somehow I suspect it wouldn't have been made if the game had gone the other way..

The 2010 World Cup was largely agreed to be the most boring of modern times.

This year's World Cup is largely agreed to be one of the best in ages.

RE: Ozil. Swear the commentators on both channels just get caught up with tournament cliches.

Mueller 'just keeps running', Luiz has 'such passion', Ozil is lazy, Neueur is quick off his line etc. ok yeah we get it Clive

If this has been the best in ages then jesus the last few must have been boring.
